About Iceland

An island state in the west of Northern Europe, which is washed by the waters of the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. From Icelandic, the name of the state is translated as "land of ice." Iceland is a founding member of NATO, a member of the Schengen Agreement.

Tourists come to Iceland to see natural beauty: volcanoes, black beaches, fjords, northern lights. The country is famous for its hot spring spas. In the north of Iceland, you can observe an interesting phenomenon - the “midnight sun”: at sunset, the sun does not set below the horizon, but touches it and rises.
