New St Kitts and Nevis biometrics rule, completed in 30 minutes in Dubai

When my family and I received our St Kitts and Nevis passports in 2023, biometrics were not part of the process. The new requirement caught us by surprise.

I did not want to wait until the last minute or risk missing any deadlines, so I contacted Immigrant Invest as soon as registration opened. Their team helped us complete the entire process quickly and smoothly — without us even having to leave the city where we live.

Small requirement, easy to overlook

Artur runs a logistics business and lives in Dubai with his family. A few years ago, with Immigrant Invest’s help, he obtained St Kitts and Nevis citizenship by investment for himself, his wife, and their 2 children. Since then, their second passports have become a quiet fixture in everyday life: a practical travel document that gives the family greater mobility around the world.

In April 2026, Artur learned about a new requirement for St Kitts and Nevis citizens: biometric registration followed by a passport upgrade. The procedure itself was simple — citizens needed to provide fingerprints, facial photographs, and digital signatures. The deadline was July 31st, 2027, after which non-compliant passports would no longer be valid for international travel.

There was one important detail. Registration had to be arranged through an authorised agent; investors could not complete the process on their own. Knowing this, Artur immediately turned to Immigrant Invest for assistance with upgrading St Kitts and Nevis passports.

Immigrant Invest maps out the next steps

For Artur, the appointment itself was not the problem. The uncertainty was in the details: where the family should register, which documents they needed to bring, whether every family member had to attend, and how to complete the process without disrupting their schedule.

Immigrant Invest explained everything step by step. A representative clarified the new rules, answered Artur’s questions, and outlined what needed to be done next.

There was also one practical concern: would the family have to travel to St Kitts and Nevis for biometric registration? Immigrant Invest reassured Artur that biometrics could be submitted not only in St Kitts and Nevis, but also at several official biometric registration centres abroad. One of them was in Dubai.

For Artur’s family, this changed everything. Since they were already based in Dubai, they did not need to fly to the Caribbean or make room for an extra trip. They could complete the requirement close to home, without interrupting their usual plans — with Immigrant Invest there to guide them through the process.

Completing biometrics without leaving Dubai

Immigrant Invest supported the family throughout the entire process, including accompanying them to the biometrics registration centre on the day of their appointment.

Here is how everything unfolded.

1

1 day

Initial consultation

After learning about the new requirement, Artur contacted Immigrant Invest for guidance. An expert explained how the biometric update affected existing citizens and clarified that the registration could be completed in Dubai, with no need to travel to St Kitts and Nevis.

2

1 day

Portal registration

Immigrant Invest provided Artur with access to the official Government of St Kitts and Nevis Biometric Enrolment Platform and helped him register on the portal. Artur created the family’s accounts using their Certificate of Registration numbers and personal details.

Appointment scheduling

Immigrant Invest coordinated with the certified biometric registration centre in Dubai and secured an appointment for the whole family 2 weeks in advance.

1 day, $7,800

Biometrics submission

The family attended their appointment at the Dubai centre accompanied by a representative from Immigrant Invest. The biometric registration process included three steps: taking a digital photograph, scanning fingerprints, and providing a digital signature.

Artur also paid the required fees:

  • $2,500 for himself;
  • $4,000 for his wife and son over 16;
  • $1,300 for his daughter under 16.

Inside the biometric centre

The St Kitts and Nevis biometric centre is located in Dubai’s Al Jawharah Building, in the city’s business district of Bur Dubai — a short metro ride or taxi trip from most parts of the city.

The Immigrant Invest representative met the family at the door. They were taken straight to a private VIP lounge — quiet, unhurried, and set apart from the rest of the building. No queues and no crowded waiting area.

The Immigrant Invest representative stayed by the family’s side the whole time, ready to answer questions as they came. An interpreter could have been arranged too, had the family needed one.

To begin, the family presented only their St Kitts and Nevis passports and appointment confirmation to a member of staff. No large document package was required. After a quick check, the biometric procedure began.

Honestly, I expected the process to be more complicated: a new requirement, the whole family. But Immigrant Invest prepared us in advance, and their representative stayed with us throughout the appointment.

In reality, the experience was much easier than I expected. The staff at the centre were friendly and patient, giving us several attempts for the photo and digital signature without making us feel rushed. Even with those extra tries, all 4 of us completed the procedure in under 30 minutes.

After the appointment

The appointment was over, but the process had not yet finished. After the biometric data was collected, it was sent to the authorities in St Kitts and Nevis, where the new passports would be issued.

Immigrant Invest would monitor the next stage, notify Artur when the passports were ready, and arrange delivery by courier to a convenient address.

If you hold a St Kitts and Nevis passport, Immigrant Invest can help you complete biometric registration and keep your document up to date. We can also assist with other matters, from opening a bank account to incorporating a company.
