Hungary Golden Visa: new path to EU residency

Hungary will start to issue residence permits by investment in 2024; the rumour has it that the first applications will be accepted on July 1st.
The investment residence permit will be valid for 10 years, with the possibility of extending it once for the same period. Residents will have the right to live in the EU and travel visa-free to other Schengen countries. Residents’ children can study at European universities without student visas.
