About Thailand
A state in Southeast Asia. It occupies part of the territory of the Indochina and Malacca peninsulas. It borders on Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Malaysia. It is washed by the waters of the South China and Andaman seas.
Thailand produces cars, equipment, electronics, rubber and plastic products, chemicals. Rice, cassava, corn, babat, pineapples and other crops are grown in the country. Tourism plays an important role in the country's economy: it brings from 16 to 18% of GDP per year.
