The first cosmopolitans lived in the 5th century BC in Ancient Greece. They were the Stoics who believed they were citizens of the whole world and not just one country.
The cosmopolitan of the 21st century is a person who freely passes the borders of different countries and doesn’t bind themselves to certain cultures and political views.
