About Somalia
A state in East Africa. On the continent it borders on Kenya, Djibouti and Ethiopia. It is washed by the waters of the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden. As a result of the civil war, the country broke up into several parts. In 2012, an interim constitution was adopted that defines Somalia as a federation.
One of the poorest countries in the world. The economy is based on agriculture, company remittances and telecommunications. The industry was damaged by the war but is recovering thanks to local and foreign investment.
