About Samoa
An island state in the South Pacific Ocean. It occupies the western part of the Samoa archipelago: the large islands of Upolu and Sawaii and eight small islands. The closest neighbors are American Samoa, Tonga, Tokelau, Tuvalu, Wallis and Futuna.
Light industry is developing in Samoa. In addition, the country exports agricultural products - cocoa, coconut milk and oil, copra and others - and improves tourism infrastructure. Samoa's economy depends on humanitarian aid and foreign private investment.
