On April 3rd, 2025, the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel in Central London hosted the Moving to Portugal Show & Seminars aimed to promote Portugal as an investment destination.
As part of the event, the Portuguese office of Immigrant Invest organised a Roadshow, providing the latest information on Golden Visas and conducting one-to-one meetings with potential investors.
The Moving to Portugal Show & Seminars is organised by the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK. The event takes place biannually and is designed for British investors interested in exploring new opportunities abroad, particularly those considering relocation or investment in Portugal.
This year, the conference attracted over 250 attendees, 55% more than in spring 2024, highlighting Portugal’s growing popularity among UK investors.

Highlights of the Moving to Portugal event
Throughout the day, participants attended live seminar presentations and expert panel discussions and explored the exhibition space, which featured 17 companies.
Investors gained in-depth insights into the advantages and benefits of relocating to or investing in Portugal. Participating companies, in turn, had the opportunity to connect with potential clients directly.
Immigrant Invest held one-on-one meetings with investors who booked their time in advance. Our experts provided personalised guidance on EU residency and citizenship to investors looking to expand their global freedoms in the post-Brexit era.
In addition to client interactions, Immigrant Invest representatives had the chance to network with key players, including banks, real estate developers, legal firms, and tax advisors, further strengthening the company’s position in the industry.
The potential for tax optimisation through EU Golden and Digital Nomad Visas was one of the main topics of discussion requested by investors. These discussions included detailed explanations of opportunities provided by the newly introduced NHR 2.0 preferential tax regime in Portugal.
Overall, the event proved intense and productive, offering valuable networking opportunities to investors and participating companies.
