Last updated: May 14th, 2026

We are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of your personal information.

1. Introduction

Welcome to IMMIGRANT INVEST’s “Cookie Policy” (the “Policy”).

We, the company IMMIGRANT INVEST, believe that we are transparent with respect to how we process the data. This Policy is designed to inform you about our usage of cookies, local storages and similar technologies. This Cookie Policy is part of our Privacy Policy, which also contains additional information.

IMIN Malta Limited (“We”, “Us”, “Our”, “IMMIGRANT INVEST”) (company registration number C 76982) may collect two types of information about you resulting from your use of its website https://immigrantinvest.com/ and/or any sub-website and/or associated domains (and/or sub-domains) of https://immigrantinvest.com/ (hereafter referred to as the “website” or the “site”), as follows:

  • personal information, including your name and surname; and
  • aggregate information generated from the practices that We have in place regarding ‘cookies’ and the Internet Protocol address (“IP address”) of users of the website.

2. Consent (replaces previous wording)

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website without prior consent. For all non-essential cookies (analytics, functional, advertising and similar trackers) we will set and read such technologies only after you have given your prior, freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit to the website. Your consent is recorded by our Consent Management Platform (“CMP”).

Continuing to browse, scroll, or otherwise navigate the website does not constitute consent. You may decline non-essential cookies at any time, in which case only the strictly necessary cookies will be set.

Please read the following carefully to understand how and why the site uses your IP address and cookies. If you do not accept or agree to the practices described in this Policy, you may continue to use the website with non-essential cookies disabled.

IP address

1. What happens when you visit the site

Every time you connect to the internet or, if you use an always-on connection such as broadband or ADSL, when you boot up or restart your computer, you are automatically assigned a unique identifying number known as an IP address. This IP address, which contains information regarding the location of your computer on the internet (your country of origin) and the name of your internet service provider (“ISP”), is automatically logged by the site.

2. What is an IP address?

When you first start your internet session (i.e. your computer connects to the internet), your computer is automatically assigned a unique number, known as an IP address. This is your computer’s unique address on the internet. Without an IP address, websites would not be able to deliver their content to you. IP addresses are not inherently capable of identifying you as an individual (at least, by themselves and not combined with other identifiers). An IP address does, however, contain information regarding the location of your computer on the internet (your country) and the name of your ISP.

3. How do we collect your IP address?

Each time you visit a page on the site, your computer sends out a message asking for the requested content to be delivered. This message also encloses your IP address as a form of “return address”, so that our web server may find your computer in order to send back the requested content. Our web server automatically logs all these messages.

4. What do we do with your IP address?

When we log your IP address, the data collected is grouped up with other logged IP addresses in order to provide us with statistics on the geographic location of visitors to our website, how long they stay on the site, which are the most viewed pages and other statistical purposes that may be relevant for our business.

We gather your IP address automatically and store it in log files. These files also contain information relating to your browser type, ISP, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data and the files viewed on the site. Collecting this type of information allows us to generate aggregate information for the purposes of developing the site, including in terms of overall user trends and activities online (such as the number of unique visitors, pages accessed and viewed most frequently or the search terms entered). It also allows us to administer the site, diagnose any potential server problems, analyse visitor trends and statistics, and generally helps us to provide you with a better internet experience.

IP addresses are not stored for longer than necessary for the above stated purposes.

Cookies

1. What are ‘cookies’?

The site uses cookies to distinguish you from other users. They allow us to analyse trends and administer the site, to help us provide you with a good experience when you browse the site and to develop and improve the site at the same time.

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. A cookie enables the website to remember users that have already visited. Without a cookie, every time you open a new web page, the server where that page is stored will treat you like a completely new visitor.

Cookies typically contain the name of the website that the cookie came from, the lifetime of the cookie as well as a randomly generated unique number.

2. Which cookies do we use?

We use different types of cookies on our website, including:

  • Session cookies that disappear when you log out and close the browser;
  • Persistent cookies that remain on your device until you or your browser removes them or until they expire;
  • First-party cookies that are associated with the domain you are visiting;
  • Third-party cookies that are associated with a different domain than the one you are visiting.

In addition to the cookies listed above, we can also use other standard technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, web errors, clean GIFs, local storage objects (HTML5) and scripts.

3. Categories of cookies

Required / strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the functioning of the website and cannot be disabled. They are usually installed only in response to actions made by you that constitute a request for services, for example, your privacy settings, logging on, or filling out forms. They do not store personal data.

Performance / Analytics cookies

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so that we can measure and improve the performance of our site. Some of the information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

Functional cookies

These cookies allow the website to provide advanced functionality and personalisation. They can be installed by us or third-party service providers. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these services may not work correctly.

Advertising cookies

These cookies can be installed through our site by our advertisers and other partners to personalise the content that you see. They can be used by these companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads on other sites.

4. Third-party services we use

We may use the following third-party analytics and advertising services on the website. These services may set their own cookies, web beacons or similar technologies and may transfer collected information to their respective providers, including outside the EEA. The list below is consistent with the third-party services disclosed in our Privacy Policy and may be updated from time to time:

  • Google Analytics and other Google Analytics advertising features (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd) — measurement, analytics and audience features.
  • Google Ads (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd) — campaign measurement and remarketing.
  • Google Tag Manager (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd) — tag management container.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) — conversion measurement and remarketing.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company) — conversion measurement and remarketing on LinkedIn.
  • Other ad-hoc paid media partners we may engage from time to time.

An up-to-date, machine-readable list of individual cookies, the providers that set them, their purpose and their retention periods is maintained in our Consent Management Platform and is accessible at any time from the cookie banner via the link “Cookie settings”.

5. What information do we collect from cookies

We use cookies in a variety of ways, including:

Security

We can use cookies to enable and maintain our security features and to detect malicious activity.

Maintaining preferences and supporting additional features

Cookies can help you to fill out forms on our website more easily.

Performance, analytics and personalisation

Cookies help us to know how effective our website is. They allow us to analyse the use of our website, as well as personalise the content and experience provided to you.

Marketing

We can use cookies to deliver marketing or advertising campaigns and track their effectiveness. Similarly, we can use cookies to collect information about your actions on our websites to provide you with ads based on your actions and interests.

Consent management and cookie banner

When you first visit the website, a cookie banner provided by our Consent Management Platform (CMP) is displayed. The banner allows you to:

  • accept all categories of cookies;
  • reject all non-essential cookies;
  • review each category of cookies and make a granular choice (analytics / functional / advertising).

The banner is built so that the action to refuse cookies is as easy and accessible as the action to accept cookies. Non-essential cookies are not placed on your device before your explicit, prior consent is obtained.

Withdrawing or changing your consent

In accordance with Article 7(3) of the GDPR, you may withdraw your consent or change your cookie preferences at any time, and as easily as you gave it. You can do so by:

  • clicking the “Cookie settings” link available in the footer of the website, which reopens our CMP preference centre;
  • deleting or blocking cookies via your browser settings;
  • using browser extensions that allow you to control or block tracking technologies.

Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent before such withdrawal.

6. Acceptance and blocking of cookies

You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, and can also block or reject all or some cookies by activating the relevant setting on your browser. If you block or reject non-essential cookies, you may still access and use the site, but your ability to use some of its features and areas may be limited.

Preference managers

You can customise your preferences for most cookies on our website through our cookie preference centre. You can also use this tool to view third-party cookies on our Site.

Third-party browser extensions

Several browser extensions allow you to choose which cookies are hosted in your browser, and help you control tracking. We are not responsible for and cannot provide technical support for these third-party products.

Personalised advertising

You can opt out of receiving certain personalised advertisements from companies that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA), in addition to using our cookie preference centre.

Further information on cookies can be found on various sites such as www.allaboutcookies.com.

7. Social media features and widgets

The site includes social media features. These features may collect your IP address and information about which pages you are visiting on the site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Any personal information that you provide via such social media applications may be collected and used by other members of that social media application and is governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing the application.
