About Trinidad and Tobago
An island state in the south of the Caribbean Sea. It occupies the territory of two large islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and many small islands. The country is located 167 km from Grenada and 10 km from Venezuela. The country is part of the Commonwealth of Nations.
The basis of the country's economy is oil and gas processing. The country produces liquefied natural gas, which is exported to other countries, such as the United States. The country also produces asphalt, fertilizers, sugar, grows coconuts and citrus fruits. Tourism is being developed: foreigners come to Trinidad and Tobago for a beach holiday and exploring the nature of the islands.
