About Costa Rica

A state in Central America. It borders Nicaragua and Panama, is washed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Costa Rica is the only neutral state in the region: the country abandoned the army in 1948. At the same time, it is considered one of the safest in Latin America.

The basis of the economy of Costa Rica is tourism, agriculture and the production of electronics. Tourists come to the country to relax on the beaches, surf and look at the active Arenal volcano.
