About Liberia
A state in North Africa. It borders on Sierra Leone, Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire, washed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The country has experienced many upheavals over the past 50 years: a military coup, a period of dictatorship, two civil wars. These events influenced on the country's economy - it is considered the poorest in the region.About 80% of the population of Liberia live below the poverty line.
