About Cabo Verde

A state in West Africa, located on the Cape Verde Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. The economy of Cape Verde depends on tourism and foreign investment. About half of the population is employed in agriculture, but it brings little income due to the arid climate.

Tourists come to Cape Verde to go windsurfing and diving, to see the unique underwater world off the coast of the archipelago, to visit the black volcanic beaches. On the islands you can see the sights - for example, the Portuguese Fort of St. Philip on the island of Santiago or the Rotcha Scribida rock on the island of São Nicolau, covered with ancient writings.
