St Kitts And Nevis Passport With A $45,000 Discount For The Whole Family
The St Kitts and Nevis citizenship programme special offer ends. Until 31 December, investors can save $45,000 if they join the programme as a family of up to four people.
Here’s how to take advantage of the discount and get a St Kitts and Nevis passport in 2021.
St Kitts And Nevis Passport With A $45,000 Discount For The Whole Family
St Kitts and Nevis’ citizenship programme by investment is the oldest in the Caribbean, having been in operation since 1984. Since then, more than 20,000 foreigners have received passports.

We got our St Kitts and Nevis citizenship in November 2020. We chose the option of contributing to the country’s public fund – there was a discount for families like ours, of four people. We ended up saving $45,000 and got a second passport in the Caribbean country. We have two children, and we want them to grow up to be cosmopolitans: fluent in several languages, seeing the world and deciding for themselves where and how to live in the future.
The minimum investment under the fund contribution option is $150,000 for a single applicant. The investor additionally pays for the participation of his/her family members in the programme, e.g. for the participation of the spouse $25,000 and for the participation of the child $10,000.
If a family of four participates in the programme, the standard contribution to the fund is $195,000.
In July 2020, the Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis reduced the non-refundable fee for families of four. The discount was valid until 15 January 2021. The offer proved popular with investors, so the government extended it.
The discount is valid until 31 December 2021. The family’s costs for participating in the programme are reduced by $45,000. They now only need to contribute $150,000 to the Sustainable Development Fund — the same amount as a single applicant.
The investor also pays for additional costs: due diligence, bank charges and administrative fees. Their cost remains unchanged.
Here is an example of the costs of the St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship programme for a family of four with two children under 16 years of age.

Who can participate in the citizenship programme
St. Kitts and Nevis accepts applications for the programme from foreigners who are at least 18 years old. The investor is entitled to include his or her family members in the application:
spouse;
children under 30 years of age;
parents over 65 years of age.
All adult family members must be financially dependent on the investor. He or she also pays a fee of $10,000 for each relative, except siblings, if more than four people participate in the programme. The state fee for a sibling is $20,000.
It is possible to attach relatives to the citizenship programme at any time, even after the investor has obtained a passport.

Essen and Guzel were granted citizenship of St Kitts and Nevis in 2019. Since then, they have spent every winter in the Caribbean. When the coronavirus pandemic started, Essen’s parents were visiting the couple. The investor persuaded them to stay until the end of the pandemic. But a visa is not enough to live in the country indefinitely – you need a residence permit or citizenship. St Kitts and Nevis’ citizenship programme allows the parents to join the application even after the investor has obtained a passport. Essen contacted Immigrant Invest again: the lawyers advised the investor and helped his parents gather all the documents to obtain passports.
How to become a citizen of St Kitts and Nevis in 2021
Under St Kitts and Nevis citizenship law, an investor cannot apply for citizenship on their own: they must apply to a licensed programme agent. This is a law firm that assists applicants every step of the way in obtaining citizenship.
The agent prepares the documents that he has received from the investor: translating them into English and notarising them, filling in government forms. The result of participation in the programme depends to a large extent on the quality of the agent’s work.
