Securing the successful future of children

A doctor is a sensible profession with low chances of unemployment. But to become a good doctor and make a good living, you need to study at one of the best universities. However, the prices for studying are big. I am glad that we found out about the university in Grenada. Here, you can save a lot and the second passport will come in handy later down the road.

I want my son to choose which country to settle down in and where to build his career and raise a family. And I gave him a choice in the form of a Cyprus residence permit. Now it is up to him to decide whether to get citizenship in the EU or not.

Our son has always wanted to study abroad at a prestigious university. And we are happy we can afford it. So now Lakmal is a student at the University of London. He is planning to get a job in the UK, too. But we all depend on visas. We cannot visit Lakmal as we wish, and once we hardly made it to come on time for his birthday. Our son's future is also at stake: he may be short of time, asked to leave the country before he could find a good job after graduation.

Unfortunately, the conflict with Palestine is still ongoing. And it started before I was even born! I love my country, but I don’t want my children to live in such an atmosphere their whole lives, too. They deserve better. I believe my children will be safer and happier in Europe. And with Maltese passports, they will be able to live in whatever country of the European Union or the Schengen Area they like.

Soon, I’m about to retire. Now I have more time to think about my children. I used to be deep down in business. Now, when things are at their best, I can invest all my assets in the family. My wife and I have decided to move to the EU, to a country that can offer a better life for our children.

I love Turkey and have never thought about moving out. Here is my family, business, magnificent sea and nature. I studied in London and want my daughter to enter a British university. But there are fears that we will not be able to visit our child as often as we would like. To enter the UK, we also need to obtain permission.

I want my daughter to get the best education possible and have all the opportunities to realise herself. So I sent her to a private boarding school in Austria. Sophia adored the teachers and classes. But we missed each other so much! Since babyhood, Sophia had been spending much time with babysitters and tutors as I had a business to manage. I thought we would cope with being separated, but it was hard. So I decided to trust the managing director to run the business and move to Austria to my little girl. I wanted my son Ekon to be educated in the UK. Together with my wife Alika, we decided to send him to a private school and submitted documents for consideration. To freely visit our son in the future, we thought of acquiring Caribbean citizenship by investment. Eventually, our plans changed, and we gave up the option of a Caribbean passport in favour of a faster route.

My son and I can travel without visas to Schengen with Austrian residence permits. But now we want to travel freely to the USA and the UK too. Сause I want to enter the American and UK markets. My son needs to get to know these countries so that he has more choices about where to settle and build his life. So going to the USA and the UK would make our lives fuller and richer.

My wife and I try to spend as much time with our children as possible. When the boys needed to move to another country, Naira got worried how we could leave them all alone. Second passports meant new costs, but we received citizenship for life and would no longer have to extend residence permits every year. We will be able to be close to children and travel freely to Europe.

I want to show my children the world and I want them to get a European education. Earlier it seemed to me that these are unattainable dreams. But my business taught me not to give up but look for opportunities.

I want my children and grandchildren to suceed in life. In the EU there are more opportunities for them: for life, for studies and for work. As for my wife and I, we are eager to have some rest and maintain our health.

We are happy people: our four children are our most significant success. We want to give them the best possible future — to choose their country for work and education. We also dream of living in a big house located in a warm country, so that our children can always come to us
