When you need to replace your Antigua and Barbuda passport
An Antigua and Barbuda passport must be replaced if it has been lost, stolen, or damaged to the extent that it is no longer suitable for travel. A replacement is also required following a legal change of personal details, including a change of name. In such cases, official supporting documents must be submitted, and a new passport will be issued reflecting the updated information.
If a passport is lost or stolen, it should be reported immediately to prevent unauthorised use and reduce the risk of identity theft. Once officially reported, the document is invalidated and can no longer be used for travel. If it is later recovered, it must be returned to the Passport Office or the nearest Immigration Office.
