7 ways to get UAE residency

To stay in the UAE long-term, foreigners obtain a residence visa. It’s a permit that’s available for: investors; — entrepreneurs; — wealthy retirees; — freelancers; — employees of local companies; — students.
Depending on the visa type, it can be valid for 1 to 10 years. For instance, investors who purchase real estate for at least $204,000 get a 2-year visa. If the property costs more than $545,000, the visa will be valid for 10 years.
