About Uganda

A state in East Africa. It borders on South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya. The country has no access to the sea, but in the southeast the territory is washed by fresh lake Victoria. The country is part of the Commonwealth of Nations.

The main sector of the economy of Uganda is agriculture. Coffee, tea, tobacco, cotton, sugarcane and other crops are grown in the country. On the territory of the state there are deposits of copper, cobalt, gold, tungsten and niobium.
