About Malawi

A state in South Africa. It borders on Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique. One of the poorest countries in the world, despite natural resources — fertile soils, deposits of coal, bauxite and uranium.

In Malawi, tobacco, sugar cane, tea, corn, potatoes, cotton and other crops are grown. The country has many natural attractions, but the development of tourism is hampered by instability in the region.
