Share or full ownership of apartments in a new resort project

The new resort project is located in the port of Port Louis with a marina that has 300 berths and can handle boats up to 300 feet in length. The project will consist of 36 studio apartments forming a hotel for the marina (the only hotel complex on the entire marina area), and will also be complemented by an entertainment and shopping center, a club with a spa and a swimming pool.

Investment opportunities:

• Equity stake with a minimum investment of $220,000 in an approved company that develops the entertainment center and rooms. At the end of the prescribed five-year holding period, the share will be repurchased by the developer for 50% of the original investment.
• Ownership of one of 36 one-bedroom studio apartments to be managed as a “condo hotel” by a holding company. This way, once work has started, the owner will be able to make a profit and then sell or keep the property at the end of the government-mandated holding period. Apartments cost between $350,000 and $475,000 depending on floor height and location.

The investor is entitled to an annual 7-day vacation on any active developer property in both investment options. Shareholders will be able to take advantage of this offer for 5 years, and freehold owners until their unit is completed and put into operation.
