In July 2020, the government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis reduced the investment amount under the non-refundable contribution option for families of four. Initially, the special offer was valid until 15 January 2021. But the government has extended the discount – an offer that has proved popular with investors.
The discount is valid until 31 December 2021. The family’s costs for participating in the program are reduced by 25%. They now only need to contribute $150,000 to the Sustainable Development Fund – the same amount as a single applicant. The standard contribution amount for a family is $195,000.
The cost of due diligence, fees, and commissions remain unchanged. The table shows an example of the cost of the St Kitts and Nevis citizenship program for a family of four with two children under 16 years of age.

Who and under what conditions can obtain citizenship together with an investor
The investor has the right to include in the application for citizenship of his family members:
- spouse;
- children under 30;
- parents over 55;
- siblings under the age of 30.
All adult family members must be financially dependent on the investor. If more than four people participate in the program, the investor pays an additional $10,000 fee for each relative, except for siblings. The government fee for a brother or sister is $20,000.
You can join relatives to the citizenship program even after the investor has received a passport.
In 2019, we helped the Essen and Guzel family of St Kitts and Nevis obtain citizenship. Since then, they have spent every winter in the Caribbean.
When the coronavirus pandemic hit, Essen’s parents were visiting. An investor persuaded them to stay until the pandemic was over. But to do so, the parents needed to obtain St Kitts and Nevis citizenship.
The lawyers at Immigrant Invest helped the investor’s parents gather all the documents without leaving St. Kitts and Nevis. And the citizenship process took just two months.

How to become a citizen of St Kitts and Nevis in 2021
By law, an investor cannot apply for citizenship themselves: St Kitts and Nevis only accept applications from licensed program agents. This is a law firm that assists applicants every step of the way in obtaining citizenship.
The result of participation in the program depends largely on the quality of the agent’s work. The agent prepares the documents that he has received from the investor: translating them into English and having them certified by a notary, completing government forms.
